Are you socially engaged, practically minded, and do you enjoy supporting others with financial questions?
For our team of six volunteers, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague for meaningful volunteer work.
During the walk-in consultation hour, you help residents of Wageningen with relatively simple financial and administrative questions. You actively use your own skills and see the immediate results of your efforts. The principle is that questions are handled anonymously and completed within approximately half an hour.
What are you going to do?
- Together with another volunteer, you hold a consultation hour on Monday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the 't Palet location in Wageningen.
- You offer direct help and advice with simple financial and administrative questions.
- If necessary, you refer visitors to collaborating partners, Social Counsellors, or staff at the Wageningen Municipality Startpunt.
- You contribute to increasing the self-reliance of residents.
What do we ask?
- You are available once every 2 to 3 weeks on Monday afternoons from 13:00 to 15:30.
- You are skilled in communication, patient, and have an open listening attitude.
- You have an affinity for financial administration.
- You possess basic administrative and digital skills.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language.
