For an elderly lady we are looking for a volunteer who wants to take her for a walk every now and then so that she can keep moving and gain energy.
For a friendly and modest elderly lady, born in 1941, we are looking for a buddy who wants to walk with her and offers her company and a listening ear in bad weather. The lady has a hernia and walks with a walker. She hasn't been outside in ages, she says. She is looking for a buddy who visits her once every 2 weeks. Mrs likes puzzles and likes to watch television. A point of attention is that the lady smokes, but she will not do this in front of the volunteer.
Job requirements:
- You are a good listener
- You are open minded
- You can take initiative, but above all give the other person the space to take it
