For a Syrian family we are looking for a volunteer who can play games, crafts or other activities with the children.
The family consists of father, mother and 5 children, including 1 handicapped child that receives a lot of attention. The parents do not speak Dutch and English. The children speak reasonable Dutch. Communication is partly done via Google Translate and parents receive support from an ambulant companion. Parents are very benevolent but are overburdened. It would be great fun if the 4 children, aged 3 to 8 years, who can quickly become enthusiastic and busy, are a volunteer who wants to play a game or another activity with them. This to relieve the parents somewhat. The children love and enjoy playing outside, building and playing board games or reading books together. These activities can be done after school or on the weekend. It would be preferable to agree a fixed time during the week.
The activity can take place in accordance with the RIVM guidelines.
The request for help is in collaboration with Sensazorg, they will guide the further match.
