Home-Start is looking for a volunteer who can be a buddy for a young mother from Iraq who speaks Kurdish. Speaking Kurdish is important.
Are you fluent in Kurdish and willing to support a young mother from Iraq?
With three young children - two sons, ages 1 and 2, and a baby daughter - she needs some extra help. Your role as a volunteer at Home-Start is versatile: you expand her network, support her at institutions, and offer a listening ear and conviviality. This contact does not have to be weekly, but can be coordinated with the mother.
Your support can make a world of difference for her and her children.
