Home-Start volunteers provide support and practicality on a friendly basis
assistance to families with children up to the age of eighteen and from 28 weeks of pregnancy
who need a helping hand for a while. Home-Start Purmerend/Beemster is offered by Humanitas Zaanstreek-Waterland. Home-Start runs on volunteers.
Home-Start volunteers:
• are available half a day per week
• have experience in raising children
• have a positive attitude to life
• are open to other cultures.
You get from Home-Start:
• a preparatory course (start September 2023)
• personal assistance
• professional development through group and theme meetings
• reimbursement of travel expenses incurred
• voluntary work that gives satisfaction.
