About Historische Vereniging De Elf Marken

The archaeological association De Elf Marken aims to 'practice history in general and in particular that of the former municipality of Gorssel'. The former municipality of Gorssel comprises the villages of Almen, Eefde, Gorssel, Harfsen, Joppe and Epse and the hamlets' t Schoolt and de Wippert and the Kring van Dorth. The association is located in the old tram station in Gorssel. The association has many reference works, a library, various maps and photographs.
