fun group volunteer wanted at activities

For the outpatient support of the SIG (Midden-Kennemerland, location IJmuiden), we are looking for enthusiastic and pleasant volunteers (with humor) who want to lend us a hand with various group activities. The clients need more activities and cozy contacts and we hope to get help from you!

Group activities that we want to expand are:

• Cooking club, every Monday evening. This consists of shopping, cooking, joining the group.
• Soup evening, weekly on Tuesday and Wednesday (alternating). This consists of shopping, cooking, joining the group.
• Walking, on Thursday evening (other evenings also possible in consultation).
• Games hour, on the last Friday afternoon of the month.

If you have fun ideas for a group activity, we would love to hear about it and we will look into it together!

There is always a supervisor present at an activity, as a SIG we also offer courses for our volunteers, if you like it you can sign up for this to increase your knowledge and skills about the target group.

Who is the SIG?

The SIG is a small-scale professional organization for people with a disability and/or autism-related disorder in Central and South Kennemerland. The SIG offers tailor-made guidance in all areas of life: education, housing, finances/debts, daytime activities and social activation.

Practical

Upon registration, an interview will take place with a contact person from the SIG and a VOG will be requested during the registration procedure. This is reimbursed by the SIG.
