There are now about 125 AEDs in the municipality of Stichtse Vecht, which means that CPR can be started anywhere within 6 minutes in the event of a cardiac arrest. This great result has been achieved in a few years and must now be maintained. This is possible if the parts with a limited shelf life (batteries and electrodes) are replaced in time. In practice, however, this does not appear to be easy for all AED administrators to organize, while the work itself is fairly simple and minor. That is why the Heart Reanimation Stichtse Vecht Foundation is looking for volunteers for this. Are you available to replace the parts at AEDs at most a few times a year to maintain our AED network?
