Detailed description
Olyvia is de middelste in een gezin van 3, waarbij moeder het grootste deel van de zorg alleen draagt. Ze ontwikkelt zich net wat anders dan andere kinderen. Ze praat niet met veel woorden, waardoor ze ook wel wat gefrustreerd kan raken als ze niet helemaal begrepen wordt. Ze heeft het op school geprobeerd wat voor haar erg fijn was in sociaal contact, maar is nu in afwachting op speciaal onderwijs. Hoewel ze heerlijk zelfstandig kan puzzelen en spelen met poppen, zou moeder graag wat ontlast worden in de vorm van een speelmaatje. Kom jij een ochtend of middagje spelen met Olyvia?
About Handjehelpen
You can choose from different types of volunteer work. From "simple" volunteer work to help that requires specific knowledge or experience. The help is given one on one. That means that you have your "own" client who visits you in his or her house. Our volunteer work is aimed at social contact for a somewhat longer period. Where necessary, we help, support and guide you.
If you have no experience with people with a disability, then that is no problem. We look at a question that suits you. In addition to individual counseling, there is an extensive training and counseling offer to follow. And a no-obligation conversation with a Handjehelpen coordinator is always possible.
