FULL! Become a multi-purpose forest consultant

A group of multi-deployable forest advisers who travels the Netherlands to maintain a forest, to create a food forest together with WoesteLand and other young people, or to advise on existing Tiny Forests about maintenance. This is a reality from September to January 2020. Do you recognize yourself in such a forest consultant? Or not yet but it seems interesting to try? Then this is your chance.

In this project you are going to:

• Working in nature at the end of September where you will receive instruction on working safely in nature with various tools. Here you also practice overseeing other young people while they work in nature.
• Support at an event during the nature day on November 2, 2019. You help organize and keep an overview during the day itself. And you naturally roll up your sleeves.
• In the period November and December you focus on creating and maintaining forest. You will receive training on how to construct forests, construct a food forest and visit existing Tiny Forests to check them, give advice on maintenance and do minor repairs yourself.
• You come up with a spin-off for these different types of nature work. How can you use these moments and locations to involve more young people in nature?

Practical information

• Location: Amsterdam, with trips to special places in the Netherlands
• National starting and closing meeting on 7-9-2019 and 1-2-2020
• Working days mainly on Friday
