Green air conditioner relay

A green what now? The Groene airco relay is a series of events to let people feel how wonderfully cool and healthy forests, trees and gardens are. And there are big plans for that. In 2021 the relay will pass through the whole of Limburg. During this Traineeship you will come up with a plan, visit potential locations and test run with a mini-edition of the relay. You can enjoy the work you have delivered yourself and you know even more confidently that your plan will be a resounding success in 2021.

In short: your commitment

• Yessss. Enjoy the field. You will visit local departments of IVN Nature Education, other Limburg nature initiatives or site managers. You look at what they do and how they make people enthusiastic about nature.
• Just develop. In a team of Trainees, professionals and volunteers you let your creative and organizational bubbles go their way for coming up with a super cool campaign plan.
• You will start a test run at the beginning of the summer. Such a nice period to be busy with green air conditioners.

In short: your impact

You get to know other young people and adults in Limburg who, just like you, are interested in nature and sustainability. How beautiful, but also how healthy and important the forests are in our fight against climate change. Thanks to your help, many Limburgers will eventually protect, manage and perhaps even plant nature. In this way you contribute to a greener world.

When?

We usually work in a team on a Thursday afternoon from 1 to 5 p.m. at the IVN Limburg, Kapellerpoort 1, 6041 HZ Roermond. Because we often work with volunteers, you are also occasionally an evening in the week or in the weekend somewhere in the nature of Limburg.

• a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience at a national project organization in the field of nature, education and sustainability;
