Helping horses in South Africa

Global Spirit, volunteering abroad with animals.

Project: Volunteering with horses in South Africa; The project was established in 1988 and its main objective is to save and then rehabilitate abused and neglected horses.

We are looking for volunteers for this great project.

The activities include: preparing food and feeding the horses, changing drinking water, taking care of the horses and checking for any wounds, etc., helping guide horse rides with tourists.

You work 5 days a week for around 8 hours a day.

You are 2 days free to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Requirements are: minimum age of 18 and younger if accompanied by a parent / guardian, able to communicate in English, have love and passion for horses / animals. Horse riding experience is a plus (but not required).

Accommodation: You stay in the volunteer house on the project and the meals are taken care of.
