Theater group Wirwar is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer PR

Theater group Wirwar started in Apeldoorn in 2017. Players of Wirwar all have (non) congenital brain injury. We take the experiences of daily life with brain injury into account in making our performances and workshops. Wirwar has since played several performances in different places.

Wirwar talks about life with brain injury in her theater performances and workshops. They inform and inspire the spectators and this creates more understanding, patience, respect and recognition. The theater gives the players the opportunity to participate in the world of art and culture. We believe that art and culture contribute to the quality of your life, the use of your talents, meaning and social participation.

Wirwar works closely with Gigant and MEE Veluwe. The theater group is supported by a working group. The working group consists of players, volunteers and a Gigant employee. The volunteer we are looking for works closely with the working group.

The volunteer we are looking for can empathize with the world of people with brain injuries and has a clear affinity with PR and social media.

Tasks:

• The PR volunteer creates and maintains a network and contact list.
• The volunteer PR maintains the Facebook page of Wirwar.
• The volunteer PR ensures that there is an online newsletter (via Mailchimp) and sends it when necessary.
• The PR volunteer coordinates with Gigant's Communications department.
• The PR volunteer participates in the consultations of the Werkgroep Wirwar (four times a year, incidentally more).
