At Freegan's Thrift Store, we are looking for 1 or more volunteers that want to help on Saturday mornings starting at 9AM until 1:30PM.
Our purpose with the thrift store is (of course) giving perfectly fine items a second life and preventing them from going to the landfill. ALL proceeds go towards programs from the foundation, but mainly the Food Market, our client choice foodbank.
Tasks while volunteering are:
- Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere towards anyone entering our doors;
- Sorting donated items;
- Keeping the store well stocked, look beautiful and organized;
- Helping customers finding their treasure in the store;
