Freegan Food Foundation is looking for dedicated individuals to help coordinate our community food bank.
Detailed description
Unlike traditional food banks, our Client-Choice model empowers participants to choose food items that match their dietary needs and personal preferences—giving them greater autonomy while reducing food waste.
As a volunteer, you will help with:
· Managing food orders
· Registering new clients
· Assisting other volunteers
This is a partly administrative role, but you’ll also interact closely with clients—so commitment, empathy, and good organizational skills are key.
It’s a meaningful way to give back to the community and support a growing initiative that treats people with dignity.
