Our client choice food bank (Freegan Food Market) is in need of dedicated volunteers on Thursday from 3PM - 6PM and on Friday from 10AM - 3PM.
Detailed description
The Food Market aims to serve about 100 families per week. We've created a safe and inspiring environment where our beneficiaries are treated with respect and dignity.
Each week beneficiaries come in to do their weekly shopping. We are searching for dedicated volunteers whose role is to serve our clients, help them with packing, choosing healthy food options, restocking the food market, etc.
We hope to find individuals that can create a warm atmosphere, have fun and are welcoming to any individual entering the shop.
