About Fair Trade gemeente Lochem

Lochem is one of more than fifty municipalities in the Netherlands, and the first municipality in the Achterhoek to claim this title. It means that within municipal boundaries a large number of companies, shops, catering establishments and social organizations have indicated that they endorse the principle of fair trade and will actively support it. A core group within the Lochem Fairtrade foundation is actively engaged in increasing support for fair trade within the municipality and regularly organizes activities to increase awareness of fair trade and fair products in Lochem.
