Deventer is proud of the multicolored, multicultural composition of its inhabitants. As a Hanseatic city, Deventer has maintained contacts with many countries and cultures all over the world for centuries. These contacts generate cooperation and connections that are of great importance for the prosperity and well-being of the city. The involvement of all Deventer residents (of Dutch and foreign descent) with the rest of the world make Deventer what it is: a city where you would like to live and work, a city to be proud of. Connections with the business community Deventer Wereldstad wants to make connections. Between the many organizations that are active in the municipality, but also between companies and organizations.
