VOLUNTEER Visiting work and Activities

The departments in Apeldoorn of National Association De Zonnebloem offer people with a physical disability, who are at risk of becoming isolated, the opportunity to participate in activities (trip, pleasant afternoon, etc.) and to receive home visits.

All this under the motto: There is so much more possible than you think .

Because the 7 local chapters are organized per district, the volunteer activities are usually fairly close to you. The big advantage is that you decide when and for how long you visit a participant.

We aim to visit a participant every two months and also have an activity 6 to 9 times a year. With a coordinator you determine how many participants you have in your portfolio or whether you only provide activity guidance.

It's all about social contacts, so some communication skills are nice. In addition, we are looking for (but not required) people with experience in care and/or nursing.

You work in enthusiastic volunteer teams and in departments that are open to new ideas. Expenses incurred will be reimbursed, supervision of activities will not cost you anything.
