Stichting de Kap is committed to a city where we help each other and where everyone can participate. Because the latter is not self-evident in Apeldoorn either! More people than you think need daily help or care and are not eligible for professional care and cannot rely on family or friends.

That's why we're here. We connect people who need help or care to people from Apeldoorn who would like to do something for someone else. A few hours can sometimes make a world of difference in someone else's life. In addition, we support people in Apeldoorn and surrounding villages who care for a family member or friend for a long time.

Doing something voluntarily for someone else is beautiful. Together we can accomplish a lot!

Every year, more than 600 volunteers are active through us, for example they are buddy, do the shopping, arrange transport or help with home administration. In addition, we support about 6800 informal carers. But now we need help ourselves.

We would like to learn from you!

We have very nice stories to tell and we would like to draw more attention to our work in Apeldoorn. We need help with that. That is why we are looking for a professional who has knowledge of social media and communication and who is willing to guide our people. Questions that concern us are, for example:

• How can we better reach/inspire Apeldoorners in the 30 to 60 age group to become volunteers?
• What can we do to better reach workers?
• How can we make better use of our social media? We now use Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

We are looking for a professional (or an agency) who wants to think critically with us. Someone who advises, but also occasionally wants to make texts or social media posts. We really want to learn from you, so that we can eventually do it ourselves.

This is what you get from us

It won't take you much time, we think a few hours a month is already great. Through your help and commitment you make a difference at an Apeldoorn organization with a major social impact. You also get the chance to meet people that you may not meet in your daily life. Of course we have an expense volunteer allowance for you.
