De Kap is looking for a voluntary supervisor Meeting group Caregivers with partner

Once a month a number of informal carers who have a partner with dementia come together to share stories, find recognition and recognition and exchange tips.

After a cup of coffee, they divide into groups and discuss a pre-selected topic around dementia. The group currently consists of 12 participants.

We are still looking for a volunteer supervisor for this meeting group.

We are looking for someone:

• who has personally experienced what it means to care for a partner with dementia and who has been able to distance themselves from his/her own care situation,
• who is a good listener and has experience in guiding group meetings,
• who enjoys preparing and supervising the meetings together with an experienced colleague.
