Summary

Cooking for young people and thus contributing to a tasty, healthy and enjoyable meal for young people with a small budget and a need for positive attention.

Detailed description

Every third Wednesday evening of the month, a meal is organized in De Herberg for young people who could use a free meal and some extra attention.

For these evenings we are looking for a set of 2 cookers who want to cook approximately once a quarter for approximately 30 participants.

As cooks, you come up with an accessible meal that is healthy and tasty. This can be prepared in the kitchen of De Herberg. In addition to you, there are also other employees present at the meal who make an extra effort to create a good atmosphere and set and clear tables.

The meal starts at 5:30 PM. Before then, you have prepared the food and cleared away as much as possible in the kitchen.

The youth meal was created as an initiative for homeless young people, by Sant'Egidio and in collaboration with the Outreach Team of Stimenz (OT) and the De Herberg Foundation. In addition to homeless young people, the meal also attracts many young people who use outpatient care and/or a residential facility.
