Group member Connect Wageningen

You help to prepare Connect Wageningen's vision for various council documents. Every other week we prepare the political evening and many topics are discussed, such as housing, accessibility, nature reserves, sports and culture. We are looking for people who want to contribute ideas about this and possibly also speak.

Job description:

If you want to prepare a council document, you read the council proposal and then explain to the faction what it contains. Then we will all discuss that council proposal and ultimately come up with an opinion whether it is a good or bad proposal or whether we want to change it. If this goes well, you can also become a spokesperson, then you will talk to residents, the alderman, other political parties during the political evening and ultimately help prepare the motions and amendments.

Job requirements:

Age between 15 and 35

What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:

- Experience in politics. - A good network. - The possibility to give back to Wageningen. - As a spokesperson you will receive a compensation of about 90 euros per political evening.

What makes the work worthwhile ?:
