Sparrenheuvel residential care center in Diepenveen has a restaurant. Residents and visitors can get the hot meal served here in an attractive environment and in a way that suits a restaurant. Sparrenheuvel is currently looking for a number of enthusiastic volunteers who want to strengthen the current team of restaurant volunteers and employees. Tasks of the restaurant volunteers: Set tables and prepare everything for the restaurant. - Taking orders from residents at table (s). - serving meals (each with its own tables). - Help resident if necessary. - Afterwards, clear tables and put dishes on washing cart. - Cleaning up the room and preparing for the next activity. - put clean dishes away again. Time and duration: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.). As a Restaurant Volunteer you will have the opportunity to eat from the daily menu!

There are coffee hours, play activities, exercise activities, creative activities, relaxation activities such as movie nights, performances, etc. In addition, there is an annual Christmas market, the Party Week, and trips are organized for residents. Sparrenheuvel also has a restaurant function where volunteers play an important role. Volunteers are involved in the vast majority of activities that are organized within or from Sparrenheuvel. They support the activity itself and / or guide residents in participating in an activity. There are also various visit volunteers within Sparrenheuvel who are linked to an individual resident. They visit a resident for e.g. a chat, a walk, or a visit to the supermarket. (depending on the specific needs / wishes of the resident). In short: Sparrenheuvel has a varied range of activities. Something that is made possible in part by enthusiastic volunteers who are of great value to the well-being of the residents.
