The Waterloo community garden is a special initiative that offers space to make our dream come true.
The former football field located behind the Pieter Vermeulen museum has been transformed into a community garden. In the neighborhood garden, a lot of work has been done on a vegetable garden, herb garden and a flower garden. There is even a beach volleyball court. The garden offers a beautiful space to meet each other, organize workshops, eat together, work, or simply enjoy nature on a bench. Do you have any nice ideas of your own? You are very welcome.
We have been given this beautiful place by the municipality of Velsen for 3 to 5 years.
Do you live in Driehuis and are you available for about three hours a week to actively roll up your sleeves with this neighborhood initiative?
