Community center De Brulboei is looking for volunteers

For over 65 years, community centre De Brulboei on Kanaalstraat in Oud IJmuiden has been the meeting centre of the neighbourhood. The community centre is known to many, some from their primary school days in one of the adjacent primary schools. Or through rummikuppen, klaverjassen, 'IJmuiden Wat Vertel Je Me Nou', Open Table, Women's Film Night, yoga lessons, etc. The wide range of activities offers something for everyone.

All these activities involve many volunteers, without volunteers nothing gets off the ground. Due to many causes, the team of volunteers at the Brulboei has been 'thinned out' considerably over the years; new recruits are more than welcome!

You will end up in a friendly team, where togetherness still counts. So if you are available one or more times a week in the months September to June, and you would like to help as a host/hostess during one or more activities, do not hesitate any longer and let us know! You will be welcomed with open arms!
