As a volunteer, you ensure that children can relax, laugh, and have fun during the lunch break.
What are you going to do?
As a volunteer, you ensure that children can relax, laugh, and have fun during the lunch break. For example, you help with lunch in the classroom, come up with fun games for the playground, or assist with other practical matters. Volunteering at Brood & Spelen contributes to a pleasant school day for every child.
This volunteer work includes, among other things:
- Preparing for lunch together.
- Check if all registered children are present. In case of absence, contact the teacher and follow the protocol.
- Ensure a positive, cozy, and calm atmosphere.
- Leave the rooms tidy afterwards.
This is what we offer you:
- A volunteer allowance of at least €11 per session.
- A friendly team of enthusiastic volunteers, under the guidance of a coordinator.
- An annual team outing.
- You are always free during school holidays!
- Training courses to further develop yourself, for example in communication, play guidance, pedagogy, and safety. Even without experience, volunteering at Brood & Spelen offers you a chance to develop yourself.
What do we expect from you?
- You speak sufficient Dutch to communicate well with children and colleagues.
- You are available on at least one of the following days:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 11:45 to 13:15.
- Experience with (groups of) children is nice, but you can also apply if you don't have that yet.
