Provincial contact persons

As a volunteer of the bee foundation, you are our contact person in your provinces. Our eyes and ears in the region. You are interested in nature and are keen to track down and, if necessary, guide bee initiatives. You also enjoy working with other volunteers in the country to make the Netherlands more bee-friendly.

Point of contact in the province

You can work from home and are the first point of contact for us in your province. You are part of a national team of volunteers. Our base is in Vorden where the Bee Education Center is housed. You will receive various online training courses about bees and their food supply.

What are you going to do

• Distribute press releases and other news items from us to local media
• Collecting news items about bees from the province
• Answer questions from the province and/or forward them to the office
• If necessary, start/supervise local initiatives.

We are looking for

• Volunteers who are in possession of a computer/laptop.
• You are proactive in making contacts with local groups
• You are used to working independently
• You are interested in wild bees or are open to following training for this
• You are available approximately 4 hours per week
