With natural dominance, the Library Supporter maintains peace and order in the library. He addresses visitors about nuisance behavior. This way every visitor is welcome, valued and respected.
The Library Supporter is a community enhancer and a bridge builder. The steward greets our regular visitors with a smile and recognizes faces. Talking to regular visitors is an opportunity for him or her to share stories, exchange experiences and deepen the bond between the library and its visitors.
With a passion for social services, the Library Supporter is committed to an inclusive community. This goes beyond lending books; it is also about bringing people together, pointing them to lectures, workshops and cultural events.

Because what you do counts, everyone can get started at the Velsen Library. Thanks to our joint efforts, we are able to eliminate language deficiencies, answer digital questions for young and old, give depth to activities and keep the opportunities accessible to everyone!
