You will work together with the participants to do the most fantastic assignments. Building robots, programming games everything is possible!
Every month we receive a box with materials for a complete laboratory. Every month there is a new chest, with new challenges!
The box contains clear teaching letters and instructions. So prior knowledge is not necessary. You learn new techniques and crack code in a playful way.
In this way we keep new digital techniques accessible for the next generation. You don't have to sit alone in front of the computer in your attic room to learn how to program. Participants learn new skills and social skills.
The activities of lab out of the box are alternated on Friday afternoon from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Velserbroek and IJmuiden.

You can read aloud at the library and also help with difficult digital questions. You can supervise or organize activities with us! You can drive around with books in our service car or help in libraries at school.
Because what you do counts, everyone can get started at the Velsen Library. Thanks to our joint efforts, we are able to eliminate language deficiencies, answer digital questions for young and old, give depth to activities and keep the opportunities accessible to everyone!
At the Velsen Library, you get to know new people in a surprisingly relaxed way at the pace you want. In exchange we make you an expert and give you the space to let you do what you are good at!
