Supervisor (digital) language practice square

In the Library of Maarssenbroek, residents can practice their digital skills on Thursdays from 14.00 – 15.30. One person wants to learn how to e-mail better, another wants to be able to use the internet independently, and another wants to learn how to move files.

The participants mainly work on their own laptop or tablet. It is an educational, but also a pleasant learning moment. One or two volunteers are present for support. The volunteers work according to a schedule. We would like to expand the volunteer group.

Working hours, frequency and duration:

You work according to a schedule. The walk-in plaza starts at 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. You are preferably available for a longer period of time.

Skills:

We ask:

• Basic knowledge of using computer, tablet, smartphone - Good communication and social skills.
• The ability to answer user questions in plain language
• Patience
• The intention to do this work for at least half a year (?).

General:

As a volunteer you will receive a volunteer agreement from us. You will also receive an end-of-year gift and there will be a volunteer meeting about twice a year.

Induction method and guidance:

You will be trained by a colleague volunteer

Schooling:

You can become an ambassador of Seniorweb, which has the advantage that you can follow training there
