volunteer who loves to sing!

Our Welfare department organizes singing Dutch songs for residents with dementia twice a month. Volunteers and residents sing together various old Dutch songs accompanied by a piano.

For this activity, our Welfare department is looking for volunteers who pick up residents of the group home and the residents a nice afternoon delivery to the activity. After the activity, the resident will be escorted back to the group home.

Desired profile

 You have affinity with elderly;

 You can empathize with the world of people with dementia.

 You are physically able to guide people (pick up and bring residents who are sometimes in a wheelchair) .

You speak Dutch well-understood Dutch;

 You yourself are also a lover of music;

Activities

You bring and bring residents of our group homes for people with dementia (on the arm, walker or with the wheelchair);

During the activity you create a pleasant atmosphere, so that the residents can enjoy singing.

You are willing and able to commit to this activity for a longer period of time.
