At location De Loohof in Apeldoorn we are looking for volunteers who want to go for a walk with residents who are in a wheelchair. We live here in a beautiful area close to Het Loo Palace. We have a walking map that you can use.Detailed description
Who we are: At Atlant we give space. Literally and figuratively. For us, people are the most important thing. Every person is beautiful. We support vulnerable people. That is our raison d'être. We do this carefully, out of full conviction, straight from the heart! Our employees, volunteers and carers are crucial in this regard, they are worth gold. They have time for the other, do what they are good at, complement each other and grow.
Activities: you make contact with the resident, help him/her with putting on the coat and then set out together.
We ask: someone with a listening ear, someone who is patient and has affinity with the elderly
We offer: explanation about how to push a wheelchair, professional development, good training period, €0.19 cents per km travel allowance, pleasant working atmosphere, contact with other volunteers.
Time commitment: once a week at a time to be determined by you
