What are you going to do?
As a volunteer hostess/host in the living room, you offer company and support to residents with dementia. You provide a homely atmosphere in which everyone feels seen and heard. Drinking coffee or tea together, playing a game, talking quietly or just being together - your presence makes the difference.
What are you bringing?
- You are friendly, patient and sociable
- You have an affinity with the elderly and/or people with dementia
- You can listen well and connect with what someone needs at that moment
- You are available for a few hours a week (days/times in consultation)
