As a library volunteer you are responsible for lending out books, but you also have a role in making the library a real meeting place.Detailed description
Location Markenhof, has a library with large print books, magazines, the Apeldoorn newspaper, spoken books, picture books etc. etc. The library is now open four afternoons a week. And this may become more. The library is also looking for readers, so far there are few people who know how to find their way to the library. That is why we are also looking for an organizational talent, Making the library visible is a big wish. You are in contact with fellow volunteers, readers and with people who come to chat in the library.
You are actively registering books and/or CDs in the system, you lend books and you receive the books back. You organize small-scale activities with the other volunteers and activity supervisor that fit the library. Reading moment, a book discussion, a lecture etc., etc.
What can you expect from us:

- Find your way around this location and the library storage,
- Good information about the lending system,
- Information about the people from different target groups who use the library,
