You work as a traffic controller at one or more posts on or around the Sportpark Orderbos. After an e-learning you will be appointed via the municipality of Apeldoorn, and you will be authorized to give traffic instructions.
Detailed description
Who are we?
The Apeldoorns Walking Committee (AWC) organizes the four-day walking evening in Apeldoorn and surroundings from Monday, June 15, 2020 to Thursday, June 18, 2020. On the last day, the four-day walk will be concluded with a festive entry accompanied by several music bands.
Activities
Because the police are less and less involved in supervising events, we are obliged to use traffic controllers who are at least 16 years old. As a traffic controller you must follow an e-learning instruction from the Netherlands Traffic Controllers Foundation, on behalf of the police. You will then be appointed by the mayor. You will be assigned a specific post at the start of the evening four days. As a traffic controller you are allowed to give traffic instructions; drivers are obliged to follow them.
You work at one or more posts on or around the Orderbos Sporpark.

Being sensitive to stress.
We offer
Evening meal (in consultation), a pleasant conclusion on the last evening.
Time use
Every evening from 6pm to 9pm.
The last evening will be concluded with a nice meeting of all volunteers.
Prior to the evening four days, there is an information evening for all volunteers.
