About Amsterdam Light Festival

Amsterdam Light Festival has been lighting up the dark winter months of Amsterdam for 10 years. With the city as a unique canvas for light art, new works of art are created every year.

For the past 8 years, educational projects for primary, secondary and higher education have been a permanent part of every edition. In addition, the foundation is committed, in collaboration with partners, through the accessible cultural form of light art for vulnerable target groups. Connection with the city, residents and visitors is central to everything.
