Help prevent melanoma by promoting sun safety with the Dermatology Interest Group, LMSA and GIG at Mullet Bay Beach.
Join us at beautiful Mullet Bay Beach for a day of sun, service, and skin health! In partnership with local skincare brand Nectar, medical students will distribute free sunscreen and educational materials to beachgoers, engaging them in friendly conversations about melanoma prevention for all skin tones.
This is a powerful opportunity to practice public health messaging, promote behavior change, and connect with both locals and visitors in a relaxed, beachside setting. Help protect your community while sharpening your skills—and don’t forget your hat and water bottle!
English and Spanish-Speaking Students Encouraged to Participate.
