Member Tenants Advice Council Enkhuizen

The HAR was established in 2015 on the basis of the new Housing Act. The HAR is an independent and fully-fledged party in consultation with Welwonen and the municipality of Enkhuizen. One third of the members of the Supervisory Board of the Welwonen housing association are nominated by the HAR.

Topics discussed by the HAR with the municipality of Enkhuizen and the Welwonen housing association include:

Keeping the rental housing stock up to standard

Keeping the rental properties affordable

The need for rental housing. For example, life-course-proof houses or a courtyard.

Sustainability

The HAR makes agreements with the municipality of Enkhuizen and the Welwonen housing corporation. These are recorded in official performance agreements. The HAR then checks whether the agreements are being met. Furthermore, the HAR also advises on the policy course of Welwonen.

Do you help us represent the common interest of the tenants? We are looking for someone who:

· Has an eye for the collective interest of tenants

Has some management experience

Can consult with the HAR members on a monthly basis

· Can meet four to six times a year with the

municipality of Enkhuizen and Welwonen
