As a volunteer you take over an important task from family and professionals. In this way you ensure that we do not have to cancel appointments if no family is available and the staffing in the residential group does not offer room for this. A beautiful and rewarding task!
What can you expect from us?
Of course we ensure that you can first get to know employees and clients and you will receive relevant information and tips from us so that you can properly guide the clients.
We arrange the taxi and if you bring clients to an appointment with your own transport, you will of course receive a travel allowance.
The Falconer
De Valkenier is a residential facility for people with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. The age varies from 22 to 80+ years, with the emphasis on the older client. De Valkenier has a nice mix of clients, where each client is unique. The teams work with great pleasure and pride on the Valkenier. As a volunteer you want to be part of that too!
