What does a Cooking Day entail?
The Cooking Days are organized weekly from different locations and last approximately 2-3 hours. We expect you at the designated start time at the community center/daycare location. Upon arrival, we'll warmly welcome you and explain everything about the program. We'll make delicious soup together with the seniors, play games, and socialize with them by chatting. All information will be provided a few days before the activity.
Why do we organize Cooking Days?
Grandma's Soup Cooking Days are always about fun and camaraderie. The elderly at community centers and daycare centers crave the camaraderie of our volunteers, and making soup together with young and old proves to be a unique combination.
