Parent Volunteer and Child Café Buurtkamer Ons Huis

The wish is to start a Parent and Child Café on Thursday morning in Buurtkamer Ons Huis. Parent and Child Café is intended for parents with children aged 0-4years to meet and exchange experiences. Once a month a theme meeting could be organized to give extra attention to certain topics. For this activity we are looking for a coordinating volunteer who would like to start this activity and run weekly with other volunteers. Tasks coordinating volunteer: - Key management - Opening and closing the location - First point of contact and contact person for the Parent and Child Café - Together with parents and other volunteers completing the program of the meetings. - Cash management (if applicable) - taking care of promotion for the Parent and Child Café. At the start-up the volunteers with the above tasks are supported and coached by the community worker in the neighborhood. Ultimately, the intention is that the activity can run independently with a fixed group of volunteers.

Working hours: The Parent and Child Café is every Thursday morning in Buurtkamer Ons Huis. The activity will start as soon as there are enough volunteers.

Special Conditions: We are looking for someone with affinity with children and talent for organizing. VOG is a requirement. This can be requested through Versa and this is free of charge.

Training method and guidance: The volunteers are guided in setting up the activity by the community worker in the neighborhood.
