Get to work in Groningen's nature during Nature Work Day!

There is a wide range of jobs to choose from, such as pollarding willows, planting trees and bulbs, cleaning ponds, pruning and building insect hotels. All jobs contribute to landscape conservation and restoration.

Village forest Onderdendam in the spotlight

This year, Landschapsbeheer Groningen is putting the Dorpsbos in Onderdendam in the spotlight.

Together with the residents, a special project has been started to increase biodiversity in the forest. The official kick-off of the project will take place on Saturday 2 November, during the Nature Work Day.

Provincial Executive Henk Emmens of the province of Groningen will be present. Volunteers are invited to help with green jobs in the forest, such as planting flower bulbs and building branch grooves. These jobs are also very suitable for children of all ages. A delicious lunch will be provided.
