Would you like to gain a unique experience as a healthcare or welfare worker in a developing country? A healthcare or welfare project in The Gambia is the ideal way to gain practical work experience and to gain a better understanding of the living conditions in a developing country. As a volunteer you will learn essential skills and provide basic assistance. Travel2Connect collaborates with various projects. You can work as a pharmacist's assistant, as a dental assistant, as a supervisor for disabled care, as a carer or nurse. You will work with the local staff and observe trained professionals. Depending on your experience or training, you can work in a local or private hospital, a doctor's office, a pharmacy or a mobile dental office.
