Neighborhood mediator, help neighbors resolve their quarrel

As a neighborhood mediator, you mediate between neighbors who are arguing and cannot reach an agreement. You have (together with a co-mediator) a meeting with each party separately and then a meeting with the parties jointly. On average you get 10 cases per year.

It is rewarding work : you help neighbors to be able to live next to each other again.

It is challenging work : it is sometimes quite a task to talk to the neighbors and help them get closer to each other.

It is patient work : In the end, the neighbors have to find the solution themselves. Sometimes you think you quickly see where the sting is and what the solution is. You are not allowed to say that, the neighbors have to discover and solve it themselves, you are only the process supervisor.
