Project leader general assistance region NH

Are you proactive and structured with a good feeling for people and aid processes? Then we are looking for you as our new project leader for the general aid at the large events of our project group Le Champion. You will work together with a team of project leaders.

What are you going to do?

- You are the first point of contact for colleagues from the Red Cross and Le Champion

- You create and maintain an overview of all activities required for Le Champion events

- You are responsible for drawing up a script or letter of intent, making a quote, administrative handling and arranging practical and logistical matters. Afterwards you evaluate and signal bottlenecks;

- You ensure sufficient, suitable volunteers who can be deployed at these events. This is done in consultation with the emergency services coordinator.

- You contribute to a professional and uniform process of event emergency services in coordination with the emergency services coordinator;

During the deployment you are not active yourself, it is about arranging matters before a deployment takes place. You work closely with the other coordinators within the region.

- You have strong communication skills and you have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

- You have experience in developing processes, while not losing sight of the fact that each event may have different needs

- You have good social skills, you can work well with other coordinators, but you can also carry out your work independently

- Planning, making decisions where you can clearly separate the main issues from the side issues and dealing with different interests are your strengths

You live in the North Holland region and are available for 4 to 8 hours per week, with quiet periods alternating with peak times.

As a volunteer, you contribute to the work of the Red Cross. That feels good! You get the chance to develop your talents and work together with motivated and enthusiastic volunteers and employees. The Red Cross reimburses travel and expenses incurred and ensures that you are insured while carrying out your work.
