52 elderly residents with an intellectual disability live in the Sainte Marie residential care center in Apeldoorn. They all have their own studio with bathroom, toilet and kitchenette. Elderly people who receive care from KleinGeluk also live in the building. Pluryn and KleinGeluk have their own floors, but together use spaces such as the restaurant, the chapel, the beautiful courtyard and offices. The emphasis in guidance is on achieving small goals, providing structure, closeness and support. We are looking for a musical talent/pacemaker for our daytime activities/integral day program.
Do you have a good singing voice, a good sense of rhythm or are you good with maracas, then we are looking for you!
You organize a musical moment that is scheduled during the integrated daily program that is being worked on. This can vary from singing songs together to making music together with various instruments. Music connects and gives our residents pleasure!

What are you bringing?
- Yourself! You are the nightingale in the house,
- You have good social and communication skills,
- You enjoy coming into contact with different people and undertaking musical activities with them,
- You are strong in your shoes,
- You have experience or affinity with our target group.
Our volunteers do not incur any costs, we are very happy with your (long-term) commitment!
Naturally, you have an excellent command of the Dutch language.
What do we expect?
- You enjoy being there for others
- Fixed appointments, regardless of frequency, everything is fine as long as you are there!
- So you decide whether you come to us once a month or perhaps 3 times a week to bring musical fun!
- You want to commit yourself to this group for a longer period of time and are willing to build a bond.
