Become a volunteer at Oma's Soep Eindhoven!

Oma's Soep is now active in 14 cities, and we visit hundreds of elderly people throughout the Netherlands every week. Our goal is to make as many elderly people happy as possible, and you can help us with that! We currently organize various activities throughout the Netherlands every week.

Cooking days

During our old-fashioned, cozy Cooking Days, we spend an afternoon chatting, playing games, and making a soup together with seniors in community centers or day care facilities. We use vegetables that would otherwise be thrown away. The Cooking Days are organized at various locations, and participation lasts approximately 2-3 hours. An afternoon full of board games, lots of tall tales, even more jokes... and, of course, delicious soup.

Soup delivery days

With the Soup at Home days, we reach the elderly who need companionship the most. Every week, together with all our volunteers, we deliver bags filled with our delicious soup, a motivational card, and a surprise to the homes of elderly people in your neighborhood. The focus here is primarily on the visit and having a chat. The Soup at Home day is organized weekly from a fixed location, and participation lasts approximately 2-3 hours. Your smile, a friendly chat, or a brief moment of contact can make a world of difference for our elderly.
