Grief and Loss Information
In 2022, Zuid Doet Samen and MEE will organize a series of information sessions for the residents of Apeldoorn-Zuid.
On Thursday, September 22, it will be about Grief and Loss.
Have you or someone close to you recently experienced Grief and Loss and would you like to know more about how grieving processes work, then sign up for this information session.
A loss can have a major impact on your life. Nothing is as it was. How can you learn to live with this loss? How do you support people who are grieving?
Everyone grieves in their own way and at their own pace.
Losses occur in all stages of human life and can result in grief. Grief is a healthy response to loss and has different manifestations. We grieve for a loved one who has died, the loss of our job, a miscarriage, an ended relationship, a lost future perspective or ideal.
Mourning can raise questions about meaning, lead to feelings of gloom and dislocation, and cause physical tension complaints. These are not always recognized as 'mourning' by the mourner or the environment, which can complicate the recovery process.
This information consists of theory about grief and loss, videos, tips on how to deal with people who are in a grieving process and we will talk together
Of course there is also room for questions.
