Are you someone who likes a challenge, is patient, can take initiative and is open to people who can be “different”?

Then becoming a volunteer at Levantogroep Volunteers might be something for you!

We are looking for enthusiastic people who, as a buddy, want to undertake a fun social activity once every two weeks with someone who is lonely because of his/her psychiatric background. It is a 1-on-1 contact, from person to person. So it is not assistance. Doing something fun together and accepting each other as you are is very important here.

For example, drinking coffee together, walking together or something else that you both enjoy to reduce the client's loneliness.

You do not need to be an expert in psychiatry. It is about building human-to-human contact.
